Uniqueness is one of the traits I value the most. That’s why I love to take inspiration from nature, from its fauna and flora. There are no two identical butterfly wings, nor two identical pieces of wood. Can we learn something from that? When I was drawing the delicate structure of butterfly wings, it reminded me a lot of a natural drawing of the wood. I know how much Tu Las is also celebrating the honesty of material and respects it.

The WINGS set is a duet of two cutting boards in two sizes. You can select from two kinds of locally sourced wood: the noble oak and the playful orchard wood (plum, pear, wild cherry, or our catch of the day) with its orange and pinkish hues
