Kawki is a set of objects that are an excuse to relocate to a dreamlike reality for a while. The objects are shaped as birds - a symbol of art and dreams that can take over a person’s life, offering an escape to the world of the imagination. Rituals play a very similar role in our reality, and this is why I often work with them. They help to devote yourself to an activity that makes you forget about the whole world. In this case, an invitation to share a cup of coffee and unite in a unique moment with your loved ones. In my work, I derive inspiration from Slavic folklore, its animal and floral forms, charming simplicity, and its multitude and repetition of patterns.
